A quote is your priced offer to a buyer. You can start one from an inquiry, so the buyer's request is already filled in, or from scratch on the Quotes page.

Build the quote

  1. Choose the buyer. Their usual Incoterm, payment terms and currency are filled in; change them if this deal differs.
  2. Add lines: a product, a quantity and a unit price. A quote needs at least one line.
  3. Add the costs you carry under the Incoterm, such as freight or insurance, so the margin is real.
  4. Check the market warnings: anything the destination requires, such as a certificate or a season window, shows before you commit to a price.

Send and follow up

Generate the proforma invoice or quote document and send it from Expodite, in English, Arabic or both. When the buyer accepts, mark the quote accepted and convert it into an order.
