The product library holds templates for common export products. A template carries the product's name in English and Arabic, a suggested HS code, its unit, its specification attributes and the certifications buyers usually ask for. Adding a product from the library copies the template into your own catalogue, where you can change anything.

Add a product from the library

  1. Open Products and choose to add from the library.
  2. Search by name or HS code, and pick the closest template.
  3. Check the HS code, the unit, weights and packaging, and fill in your own values, such as cost and origin.
  4. Save. The product is yours: later changes to the library never overwrite it.

Or import your catalogue

If you already keep your products in a spreadsheet, download the products CSV template, fill it in and upload it. Expodite validates every row before anything is saved, shows the errors by row and column, and suggests a library match for each product, which you can accept or ignore. Uploads are limited to 5 MB and 5,000 rows.

Your plan sets how many products you can have. An import that would take you over the limit is stopped before anything is written.
