An export order moves through stages set by your workflow: typically approved, in production, quality check, packed, loaded, shipped, delivered and closed. A trader's workflow can skip production and quality check. The order page shows where the order is, what is due next and who owns it.
The shipment
- Create the shipment on the order's Logistics tab: mode (sea, air, road), carrier, booking, ports and dates.
- For sea freight, add the containers before packing, and allocate every order line to them.
- The order needs its origin site, the destination country and the consignee address before it can ship.
Checks before each stage
Moving to the next stage runs the readiness checks for that stage: required documents, payment received, lots recorded, containers weighed, inspections passed, destination restrictions. Each finding is listed with what to do. A blocker must be resolved, or overridden with a reason where overriding is allowed; a warning needs your acknowledgement.
